Throwing the bobbins
A perfect way of handling the bobbins to obtain a beautiful structure in the lace.
The bobbins are moved from one side to the other so that the threads spread evenly. Whilst going through the row the passives are tensioned when picked up.
At the end of the row the edge pair needs tensioning before the edge stitch is made, then both pairs are tensioned and the pin is set.

Rolling an edge
A bundle of threads is laid along the edge and attached to the edge with one of the threads.
